ICC makes changes to Playing Conditions

Sep 22 (ICC) Ahost of changes have been announced by the ICC to the Playing Conditions, which will come into effect on Oct 1 2022. Men's Cricket Committee led by former India captain Sourav Ganguly recommended changes to the Playing Conditions in MCC’s updated 3rd Edition of the 2017 Code of the Laws of Cricket. Sri Lanka railways seek forex from scrap metal amid currency crisis

Currency float sends rupee value of foreign debt swelling

Sep 22 (DM) The SL rupee, which shed nearly 80 percent of its value, has sent the rupee value of the foreign currency-denominated debt of the govt spiralling by significant proportions, even with no fresh borrowings, as the rupee weakness is sending ripple effects across markets.
