India planning sub-sea power cable to SL

Oct 10 (Hindu) The Union Power Ministry is considering laying a sub-sea power cable to transmit power from India to Sri Lanka, said a senior Ministry official here. It is learnt that the Sri Lanka requires 500 MW of power from India to meet its domestic power requirements. Duminda hospitalised for yellow fever
