Principal nabbed for soliciting bribe

Feb 7 (DM) Principal of school in Mount Lavinia was arrested by the Bribery Commission officials today for soliciting a bribe of Rs.35, 000 to admit a student to grade one. The parent who had been asked to pay the bribe lodged a complaint with the commission.
