Five abductor suspects arrested

Inter-Provincial levy to raise funds

Committee summons Treasury Secretary

Ananda Deputy Principal dies

June 25 (DN) The death occurred yesterday of Rohana Ponnamperuma, Deputy Principal, Ananda College, Colombo. An old boy of Dharmashoka College, Ambalangoda he joined the teaching profession from one of the leading schools in Elpitiya. He joined the staff of Ananda College in 1994. Fuel adulteration racket uncovered

June 25 (DM) A large-scale racket where diesel fuel mixed with kerosene was sold at a filling station in Yatiyantota was uncovered yesterday, police said. Yatiyantota police told the Daily Mirror that they had received information on Saturday night about the racket.
