Woman loses a tooth for no fault of hers

Nov 17 (Island) A woman travelling in a Nawalapitiya bound bus from Kandy was admitted to the Gampola Teaching Hospital after being assaulted by the wife of the driver of the bus recently. Grade 5 revised cut-off marks released

Nov 17 (DM) The revised cut-off marks for this year's Grade-5 Scholarship Exam have been released. Accordingly, the overall minimum cut-off mark has been reduced from 163 to 157 for the Sinhala medium and from 159 to 152 for Tamil medium students.
