June 29 (Island) Commercial Bank has begun work on renovating two sections of the steps to the summit of Sri Pada for the benefit of thousands of pilgrims who make the trek up Sri Lanka’s holy mountain. Finds noodles being dried on the roof

June 29 (CT) A factory in Sedawatte, Grandpass, manufacturing noodles using expired ingredients and unhygienic methods of preparation was raided by the officers of the CAA.
