Aug 18 (Reuters) Rrupee rose against the US currency on Monday as inward remittances and dollar sales by exporters outpaced importer demand for the greenback even as state banks prevented any further appreciation. NSB profits surge

Aug 19 (CT) State-owned National Savings Bank (NSB) said it reported a net profit of Rs 1.8 billion for the first six months of 2014, up 184% from Rs 642 million a year ago.
