Japanese encephalitis epidemic scare engulfs Sabaragamuwa

Feb 8 (Island) Medical Officer of Health, in the Ratnapura District, commenced vaccinating infants and children, between the ages of nine months and ten years, for Japanese encephalitis (JE), following a steep increase in Japanese encephalitis cases since last December.
