July tea output falls 4% on drought

Aug 23 (Reuters) Sri Lanka's tea production fell in July for a sixth straight month, data from the tea board showed, as an extended drought sapped output of the island nation's top agricultural export commodity. Aug 23 (LBO) Sri Lanka's external trade contracted in June with exports falling 11.7% to 755.8 million US dollars and imports falling 15% to 1,419 million US dollars.
