Performing Arts Centre opens in March

Feb 15 (DN) The construction of the National Performing Arts Theatre at Normads Grounds would be completed and the Theatre would be opened for the public in March. The Ministry has planned to open the National Performing Arts Theatre under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa next month. BOI restructure to bring in US$ 1bn in FDIs this year

CAA to increase annual raids

Feb 16 (SL) The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has decided to increase the number of raids conducted annually and also providing an incentive scheme for the officers involved in the raids.
