US Ambassador’s BMW shipped for recycling

Oct 7 (SLNN) Imports from Pakistan to Sri Lanka have increased during the past six years from $71 million in 2003 to $197 million in 2009. “Imports from Pakistan to Sri Lanka have grown at a much faster rate (than Sri Lankan exports to Pakistan),” said the executive director of the Institute of Policy Studies, Saman Kelegama. “One percent of Sri Lanka’s overall imports came from Pakistan in 2003.
