IDPs get a second chance

June 28 (NS) Last week I had the opportunity of visiting Kadiragamar Transitional Relief Village (KTRV) attached to the Menik Farm IDP camp. In the last few months I had read hundreds of news stories and saw thousands of pictures that gave me the notion that these relief villages were no better than concentration camps and I went there to see misery and suffering. Ekamath Eka Rateka: Conceived in France, Born in Lanka

Jun 28 (Island) I greatly enjoyed Sanath Gunatilake’s maiden film, Ekamath Eka Rateka, which is based on Emil Zola’s short story "Pour une nuit d’amour" For a night of love.
