Mar 9 (IL) S.Vasantharajah, the Chairman of the Batticaloa Branch of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society is being pressurised by the LTTE to resign from his post. Vasantharajah had earlier refused to oblige ‘Durai’ a LTTE leader, whenever he had demanded Red Cross vehicles for the use of the LTTE. Hence, the pressure on him to resign, the EPDP claimed.
