Sri Lankan Mas Paan

    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 pound ground beef
    1 clove garlic, very finely chopped
    1 tbsp grated gingerroot
    1 tsp curry powder
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    3 cups mashed potatoes
    bread dough in 1 inch balls

    Brown beef and onion, drain. Add spices and mix well.
    Add mashed potatoes. Roll out each bread ball and place
    2 tbsp of beef and potatoe mixture in center of each circle.
    Bring all edges of dough together and pinch to close.

    Place pinched side down on greased baking sheet and allow to
    rise till double in size. Bake at 350 till golden brown.
