Butter Cookies

    Ingredients:
    1/2 lb margarine (Flora)
    10-12 oz flour
    200g sugar
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1 large egg
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Method:
    Cream the margarine and sugar well. Then add the vanilla and the egg. Add the flour to a consistency where it can be piped to a baking dish. (Often, 10 oz would do).

    Put the mixture to a piping bag (with a nozzle of your choice), and pipe it onto a greased baking tray. Bake at 180*C for about 10-15 minutes. Watch out for the colour though. It should be golden brown on top and a little darker at the bottom.

    When you take it out of the oven, it will be a little soft in the middle. This will harden after a few minutes out of the oven.
