    4 APPLES (GREEN APPLE) GRANNY SMITH
    1 TBSP FLOUR
    CARAMEL SYRUP 2 TO 3 TBSP
    BITS OF WATER
    FOR TOPPING
    3/4 BROWN SUGAR
    5 TBSP MARGERINE
    1 1/2 CUP OATS
    1 CUP FLOUR
    1 TSP BAKING POWDER
    1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS (PECANS OR WALNUT)
    1TSP CINNAMON

    BEAT WELL BROWN SUGAR AND MARGERINE. THEN ADD OATS FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER BEAT WELL.ADD CHOPPED NUTS AND CINNAMON BEAT UNTILL CRUMBLED. PUT A SIDE.

    PEEL APPLES AND CUT IN TO SMALL SQUARE PIECES.PUT IN TO A GLASS BAKING DISH. MIX 1TBSP FLOUR WITH A BIT OF WATER THEN ADD A CARAMEL SYRUP. MIX WELL AND POUR OVER THE APPLES.

    THEN SPREAD THE TOPPING MIX OVER THE APPLE AND BAKE IN THE OVEN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. GAS MARK ABOUT 350F. SERVE WITH ICE CREAM AND CARAMEL
