Avial (Vegetables in Curd)

    2 carrots
    1 drumstick
    1 ash plantain
    10 beans or flat beans (avarai)
    1/4 cup coconut
    2-3 green chillies
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp rice flour
    1/2 cup thick curd
    1-2 tsp coconut oil

    Grind coconut, chillies, cumin seeds, rice flour to a paste (not very fine) and set aside. Cut all the vegetable into small pieces. Boil all the cut vegetables in 1/2 cup water. Add the coconut paste. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from fire immediately. Add curd and pour the coconut oil over it.
    Options: you can temper the mix without jus adding oil.
