    4 Brinjals
    1 cup grated coconut
    coriander seeds
    4 red chillies
    pepper
    seeragam *
    turmeric powder
    cloves
    curry leaves
    salt


    Cut the Brinjals vertically into strips.
    Puree the above mixture together except Brinjal.
    Heat oil in a pan. Put the sliced Brinjal and semi fry it.
    Add the pureed mixture to it, cook under low flame.
    Garnish with coriander.

    *Seeragam is powder that consists of cumin, split gram (pigeon pea), pepper, red chillies and a pinch of asafetida
