Battered Prawns

    =10 large prawns, shelled and deveined
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp Ajinamoto (MSG)
    1 tsp turmeric (kaha kudu)
    1 cup water
    Oil for deep frying

    Combine flour, sugar, salt, Ajinamotto, turmeric in a bowl.
    Add water little by little and mix into a smooth paste.
    Dip the prawns in the mixture, and deep fry it till golden.
    Serve immediately.
