Recruitment of 190 locomotive engineers underway
May 29 (DM) Applications have been called to recruit 190 locomotive engineers, including 160 external applicants and 30 from within the dept, Railways General Manager Dhammika Jayasundara said. BOC employees to withdraw from services in protest over allowance cuts
May 29 (AD) Ceylon Bank Employees’ Union says it has decided to withdraw from services in protest against the decision to reduce employee bonuses. The union announced that it would launch a token strike on June 6 if its demands are not met.
