Jul 9 (CI) Kusal Mendis crashed 124 off 114, SL's seamers took three wickets apiece, and Sri Lanka surged to a series win, defeating Bangladesh by 99 runs in the deciding ODI. Jul 9 (EN) SL has a shortage of 28,000 police personnel, and is in the process of recruiting 5,000, Minister Ananda Wijepala told parliament. “We are already receiving applications for the sub-inspector and constable posts,” he said.
