May 10 (EN) SL has confirmed 2,672 Coronavirus cases on May 09, sharply up from 1,896 a day earlier in a new high, data showed, as the country scrambled to find hospital spaces for confirmed patients. Sri Lanka gets $500m South Korean loan after Chinese bailout

May 10 (AFP) SL said Monday it had secured a $500 million loan from South Korea, a month after a similar loan from China as the island faced a foreign exchange shortage amid a debt crisis. Large stock of Sevanagala sugar factory ethanol detected on its way to Dankotuwa
