Mar 23 (Island) An attempt by a London-based organisation to grab an ecologically sensitive island in the Batticaloa lagoon, with the help of a Batticaloa-based govt politician, has come to light. Police to inspect vehicles running with worn-out tyres

Mar 23 (DM) A three-day special operation will be conducted across the country from today to inspect the worn-out tyres of vehicles, police announced.
