May 11 (Island) I refer to the article on the Ceylon Civil Service (CCS) by Dr. P.G. Punchihewa in the Sunday Island. It raises many interesting issues. Punchi’s views and mine are somewhat different on these matters. Sri Lanka lifts withholding tax from children's bank accounts

May 11 (EN) Sri Lanka has decided to lift withholding tax from minor's bank accounts until they are 18 years, Finance and Mass Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera said.
