Vehicle with Heroin found on Southern expressway

Apr 11 (NR) Police have seized a vehicle containing a stock of Heroin which was found abandoned on the Southern Expressway. Police stated the car was travelling towards Matara along Kaduwela stretch of the highway in violation of the expressway speed limit. Apr 11 (Xinhua) All three-wheeler taxis operating will be fitted with metres after April 30. Chairman of National Council for Road Safety Sisira Kodagoda said that some three-wheeler taxis had been metered, but many taxis had not yet been metered.
