Artificial Toddy manufacturing scourge

July 22 (NS) Presidential Task Force on Drug Prevention pointed out that the mass scale artificial toddy production in Kalutara for supply to upcountry, hill country estates and plantations, the manufacturing which was currently taking place with political patronage, was a major problem in the area. Central Expressway: Japanese company gets third phase

July 23 (ST) Highways Ministry has decided to award to a Japanese company the tender valued at Rs 134.9 billion for the third phase development of the Central Expressway.
